Varsity led by Kebede Kerlin (4th OA in 16:21), Christian Mathurin (6th), Judsen Massey (9th), Andrew Esparza (10th), and Raffi Giesen-Linssen (12th) to secure the win.
Bus and Spectator Parking will both be at Gupton Stadium which is across the street from the HS. Buses will be able to enter through the South entrance of the HS and circle around to drop athletes off at the Team Camp Area before exiting the school through the North entrance and continuing to the stadium for parking.
*Please remind your parents that parking will also be at Gupton Stadium.
Team Camp Area will be designated on the fence line. Please set up tents along the fence line or under the trees located on the South end of the fields.
Restrooms: We will have some porta-potties located near the team camp area and will also have Ranger Stadium bathrooms open as well which are located in concision stand area near the track.
Lastly NO ATHLETES are allowed inside the main school building. If you could please help us out in reminding your athletes that would be a big help.

2022 BOYS RACE REPORT:
Our Elite Varsity Boys team was led to 2nd OA finish by Kebede Kerlin with a time of 15:53.33 and he hammered up to the line coming in 8th OA. Kebede was followed up by teammates Luke Hein 18th OA), Christian Mathurin (20th OA), Esteban Martinez (23rd OA), Aniket Shirodkar (42nd OA) and Parker Stevens (53rd OA) who finished running the last two miles with only one shoe. Caleb McQuinn had to DNF with a pulled calf muscle that took him out just after the first mile. Vandegrift was the only school to top us with 75 points to our 111. Their Cumulative Time was 1:21:19.87, and Avg. Team Time 16:15.97.
Our Varsity team was led to 1st OA by sophomore Judsen Massey crushing it with a time of just 17:07.83 to finish 4th overall. He was followed up to secure the victory by teammates Griffin Marion (6th OA), Raffael Giesen Linssen (8th OA), Matthew Makar (16th OA), and Dominic Mashak (36th OA). - On Thursday October 12th at Old Settlers Park, the Round Rock Cross Country Boys represented very well. Our Varsity Boys earned second overall led by senior Kebede Kerlin with a 3rd place overall finish after laying down a course-blistering 5-minute per mile average pace over the 3.1 miles. Freshman Andrew Esparza finished 2nd for the team with a 10th Place overall finish, trailing by just 23 seconds. Ryan Chase and Christian Mathurin followed to secure 12th and 13th places respectively and then Judson Massey stopped the clock for the team coming in 15th overall. Also contributing for our varsity team were Raffael Giesen-Linssen and Landon Fluckiger. It was a very competitive race and their finish puts them in a good spot for the coming Regionals competition coming up on October 24th in Corpus Christi.
9:30 AM JV Boys 1st OA
- Boys JV crushed the field of runners in their race by taking A solid 1st place overall, the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 9th spots. FrontRunner for the team in that 2nd place was freshman Jackson Sanchez with a time of just 16:46 And that will earn him the 7th spot to represent the team at Regionals. Coming 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 9th were Parker Stevens, Hayden Luther, Finn McGowan, Spencer McVay. Damion Blair and Caleb Cardenas took 6th and 7th as well.

- RRXC Freshmen took 2nd overall in their division, missing the 1st team spot by just 5 points. They were led by Julian Ruvalcaba who ran up front to a 2nd overall finish with a time of 17:56. Peter Lemons took 3rd followed by Carter Simmons (6th), Oliver Rabe (11th), Devansh Garg (12th), Ian Rockey (19th) and Javob Gomez (20th).

- Revision to the course- starting line.
- Runners are not to use the roadway to warm-up. There is a loop that goes behind the Dell Diamond that may be used to warm-up. Map attached
- The top (3) three teams and the top 10 individuals shall qualify from district to the regional meet. An individual qualifier may also be a team member of one of the qualifying teams.

Parking
- Team and handicapped parking: Team and Handicap parking is free. Teams in vans, cars or a mini bus can park at the track stadium as space is available. Full size buses please park in the the grass parking lot located across the street from the track stadium.
- Spectator Parking: Spectator parking is located at the grass parking lot across the street from the stadium. Please follow the directional parking signs.

Team Camps
- grassy areas adjacent to the stadium stands. No participants or spectators are allowed on the track or into the track infield.
T-shirt sales
- Custom UIL Championship meet t-shirts will be for sale at course inspection on Sunday until the end of last race on Monday.
Restroom Facilities
- Restrooms are located underneath the stands and portable toilets are available in the stadium area as well. Showers or locker rooms will not be available. Please plan accordingly.
Inspection of the course
- Sunday October 23RD the entire course is open from 3:00 pm to 5 pm.
- Monday October 24th the course will be open at 7 am for inspection and pre-competition warmups. It will close once races begin at 0830. Please be respectful of other races that are in progress throughout the day.

State Qualifiers
- Top four (4) teams + top 10 individuals not on a qualifying team will qualify for the UIL state meet
- The top 3 teams and the top 10 overall individuals in each race will receive an award 30
minutes after results have been posted to allow times for protests, approximately 1 hour after each
races start time, awards will be handed out to the top three teams and the top 10 individual finishers in
each race. The fourth place team, which has qualified for state will also be recognized but will not
receive an award. The awards stage is located on the south end of the track.

Boy's 2022 Race Recap...
Today was a historic day for RRXC with our boys team placing 6th in the 2022 6A UIL State Cross Country Championships!
The team was led by senior Luke Hein taking 19th overall with a time of just 16:12.8. Following and gutting out the 2nd place spot of our team, while running the second half of the entire race with just one shoe, senior Esteban Martinez was 52nd overall with a time of 16:34.3. Kebede Kerlin, a Junior, followed to land our third spot and 71st overall with a time of 16:46.4. Senior Aniket Shirodkar landed 83rd overall in a time of 16:56.9, just in front of our fifth runner Sophomore Judsen Massey with a 16:57.9 to secure the teams spot at 6th overall. Juniors Christian Mathurin and Parker Stevens landed 118th and 124th overall as well.
Their Team Score (places): 193, and Team Score (times): 1:23:28.4 is a best ever placement for RRHS at any UIL State Cross Country Championship and they achieved an average time of just 16:41.6.
Super proud of these guys for representing us well and it was a great end to an incredibly successful season!

Spectator Information
Tickets will be sold by car. The price paid by car for parking will be considered entry into the event (see parking prices and breakdown below). It is recommended to purchase tickets online in advance. NO CASH transactions will be available. Tickets may be purchased in advance or on site with credit/debit card ONLY.
Purchase Friday tickets here. 2A, 4A & 6APublic Parking will be located in Old Settlers Park off of HWY 79 and Harrell Pkwy OR off of Old Settlers Blvd and Kenney Fort. Spectators may begin parking at 7:30am. Please see map for details and get this information to parents and community members. There will be NO shuttle buses that will take spectators to the main event area.
